First of all my excuses for writing this in (poor) english.... :blushing:
Have the following problem with my 2004 Corsa C (facelift) Z18XE 105.000 km's EDS chip @ 25.000kms Green-airfilter @ 30.000km's
Never had problems with the engine before! It ran like the devil :freak:
Last saturday all the sudden the enginelight turned on.
Dropped it off at the garage last tuesday because it was a horror to drive. Low and high revs on stationair and shocking when driving like it wanted to stall.
They have diagnosed the electronics and the errorcode was P0170 - poor mixture (Abgas zu mager)
They tested everything:
-Co2-test > Abgas zu mager (1.60?)
-Both lambda's > ok
-Air/vacuum leakage > none
-MAF > defect and replaced
-Sparkplugs > replaced just to be sure
-throttlehouse > cleaned just to be sure
-Injectors > ok
-The thing that feeds the sparkplugs with power > ok
-Reset of error-code
Result:
Car was ok! Co2-test (1.01?)
Revs were ok
Drove ok
So i picked it up yesterday....
It was a real difference with the car i dropped off earlyer this week...
Untill tonight... Went for a short spin to the Mac (9-10km) On the way back it all started over again... :weep:
Searching the internet i found that resetting the error results in a perfectly running engine UNTIL it's at it's end of it's capebillity of rearanging the ecu.
Some other possible problems could be:
-Camshaftsensor
-Enginetemperaturesensor
-Fuelpressurecontroller
-EGR (don't know if my car has one)
Can someone please give me advise what to do... I'll bring the car to the garage next monday but i want to point them in the right direction.... It already has cost me a small fortune and i'm about to put the car on fire.... :wallbash:
