I can`t answer your questions because I don`t speak deutsch. I`m really sorry about come to one german site without speak deutsch. I`ll look for one translator, but for now, just english.

The car is 1000cc, 4 cylinders. These kind of engine is very common here in Brasil. It`s the same engine as the 1.4 - 1.6 and now 1.8 (thats all the versions we have)

1800ccm? *ding ding ding* How many horsepowers are there in this 1,8-version? 125 hp? Do you have photos of this motor? Thank you!

The 1.8 engine used in the Corsa C is avaliable in the "FlexPower" system (wich means, burns alchool and gasoline - or bolth mixed). It produces 18,2 m.kgf using just alchool or 17,3 m.kgf using just gasoline, and the power is 109hp on alchool and 105hp on gasoline.

The compression ratio is 10,5:1 (important know that GM have a 1.0 and 1.4 engine called VHC - Very High Compression - wich works with 12,6:1 just on gasoline)


Engine - 80,5 x 88,2 mm - as you can see, a stroked version

Alchool price in the pump here in Brasil changes from R$0,90 to R$1,40 (one euro costs about R$3,60) and gasoline price changes from R$2,00 to R$2,50. So, even if the alchool needs more fuel to work, stills cheaper burn alchool instead of gas...and more powerfull.
