The secret on 17z is the offset. ET will need to be near or 49 in 7 wide rims. The lower the ET is the further comes out of the arches and starts to rubb.

Mine did NOT rubb with ET48.

ET49 is the ideal, 45 is ok and 42 will rubb a bit... that is what i read on UK foruns.

Ofcourse you can not drop the car as you drop it on 14z.

habe jetzt schon öfter gelesen das einige von euch 205/40 17 auf´m Corsa B fahren. Ich frage mich nur wie Ihr das mit der Tachogenauigkeit macht?! Ich hab letzte Saison diese größe auf meinem Astra gefahren und selbst da hat der Tacho schon zuviel angezeigt, also wie soll das auf nem Corsa gehen? :?:

Wollen nächste Saison evtl. einen Corsa auf 17" stellen, aber dann höchstwahrscheinlich mit 195/40

die standart 165/65r14 haben einen durchmesser von 570mm. bei 195/50r15, die man auch ohne angleichung noch eingetragen bekommt, sinds 576mm. 195/40r17 ergeben 588mm durchmesser, 205/40r17 ergeben 596mm.
sprich: von 165/65r14 zu 205/40r17 sinds 26mm höhenunterschied, d.h. steht der reifen 13mm tiefer im radkasten und das auto is 13mm höher. tacho wird man angleichen müssen, alternativ beim wellentacho den w=1150 gegen den w=1121 vom tigra tauschen, damit kann man einiges ausgleichen, die 195/40r17 auf jeden fall.

Std cars show on dash allways 10, 12 kmh, and on hondas 20kmh more then the real thing.

In mine (1.5TD blue one) i tested it in dyno and it only reduced the difrence, giving me more acurate speed readings.

I dont remenber how much... sorry, it was 3 years ago.

Only thing i dont like about 17z is the hight... the car sits to high from the floor, and becouse of the wheels you cant drop it as you do with 14z.

In the pictures i was using Eibach Sportline springs and Bilstein Sprint dampers with lots of sound in the rear.

Again i must say that it never catched the arches with the wheels.

um das kurz zu machen fahre 7,5x17 borbet bs oder rs keine ahnung va35mm ha35mm(bei 45ps komm ich sogar noch vom fleck) past alles schleift nichts bürteln is nich nimm nen gummihammer und kllop die kanten vom radlauf(mit gefühl)etwa 1cm raus hol dir längere radbolzen besorg dir nen teile gut achten lass dein tacho nach stelln und die teile eintragen und vertig!ach zentrirringe und felgen schloss nich vergessen!!!porno optik

@steven: Ich hab im Winter 175/65 15 auf Tigra-Alus, musste dafür ne tachokontrolle machen, Ergebnis, bis auf 1-2km/h genau, also ists auch kein problem die 205/40 zu fahren. hab schon mitm Prüfer gesprochen

oder ganz einfach paint benutzen dort kann man strecken und ziehen einfach mal statt 100% auf 50% setzen
