I will have a C20XE Pahse 3
in my Tig. in a few weeks 8)
I don't drive the car with my new power yet ,but
I'm already thinking about evolution for more Drehmoment and
PS .
So I'm observing that 20XE with increase of capacity from
2.0 to 2.3 are really rares .
In French magazines ,I only see
1998 Steinmetz Astra GT/C 228 PS
& a black Corsa B 195 PS by Hintermeier in 1997 .
Can someone explain me why this conversion is so rare ,
and ,please ,don't answer that you prefer to fit a C20LET
instead of this ,because of the price :!:
We all put a lot of expensive parts in our cars who can run without them :!:
And last ,Risse Motorsport ,Hipo-Autotechnik & Imotec
can make this kind of work :In Germany ,
what is your idea on these 3 tuners ?

the version is very rare because there are many rumors that the engine is not very resistant.
to make a 2,3l engine there will be done the following things:
they drill out the engine to 2,1l and take another crankshaft and other pistons etc.
there will be at last ca 175 HP (series) when you do it.
now about the tuners:
Risse Motorsport and Hipo-Atuotechnik are good tuners and they have a good reputation.
About Imotec i never herd a think.
i fit u to search other things that increase ur achievement.
like cam shaft or chip tuning.

Zylinderkopfbearbeitung & Mantzel Powercap .
I will keep my 63.5 mm Edelstahl Fortex line from my 14 XE .
It seems that the original C20XE Fächerkrummer can be
connected on it :?
I don't understand how it can be ,but I will see :?
I think I could have 185 PS and 22.5 Mkg broadly .
Sure it will be better than my 132 PS X14XE ,but ,it will
never be vigorous than a C20LET .
